Event Tickets Terms & Conditions of Sale

You are purchasing event tickets from the Ommaroo Hotel, Havre des Pas, St Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands, JE2 4UL. Telephone: +44 (0) 1534 723493. Enquiries regarding event tickets purchased should be made by email to [email protected] and further information can be found at www.ommaroo.com.

Event tickets purchased can only be redeemed for the date and time of the event for which they are purchased, as stipulated during the purchase. They have no cash value and no change will be given. Any event ticket payments made are non-refundable if you do not attend the event.

Your Data

By purchasing your event ticket on www.ommaroo.com, you are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information to the Ommaroo Hotel for the purpose of the issue and redemption of your event ticket.

Processing your order

Event tickets ordered will be confirmed by email to the purchaser. This email will need to be presented on arrival at the event, either as a printed email or by showing the email on arrival to staff. Some event tickets, in particular those with overnight accommodation included are subject to bedroom availability at the time of booking and you are therefore required to email [email protected] or T. +44 (0) 1534 723493 to check availability BEFORE buying your tickets online. We will use all reasonable endeavours to meet your requirements but cannot guarantee any specific dates or times prior to making your booking directly with Reservations and receipt of written confirmation accordingly.

Payment for event tickets

You must be 18 years or over to purchase event tickets. For security reasons, you may only purchase event tickets using a credit or debit card which belongs to you and has sufficient funds to cover the cost of the tickets you are purchasing. We reserve the right to cancel a ticket if we believe that the card was obtained through fraudulent or unauthorized means. Any tax liability, including disclosure, connected with receipt or use of the ticket is the recipient’s responsibility. Event ticket purchases are only valid once you have paid for them in full and you receive email confirmation of the purchase. Please check this confirmation carefully as we may not be able to amend any issues at a later date. No service or use fees of any kind will be imposed on purchasers or recipients of event tickets in connection with the sale of the ticket. Payment is using a 3rd party payment provider that is not associated with our website. We will not transmit any of your payment card details, you will be redirected to a secure payment page depending on the payment processor that the company chooses to work with.

Receiving your event tickets

At the time of purchase, it will be confirmed that tickets will be sent by email only, which is to be shown at the event to gain entry.

Your right to cancel your online order

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (which came into force on 13 June 2014 and applies to contracts entered into on or after that date) gives you the right to cancel your online order. Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your order. The right to cancel can be lost during the cancellation period if the service is provided in full before the 14 days elapses.

Your right to a refund

In the event of cancelling your order made online in line with the regulations outlined above, we will refund you the price you paid for the event ticket within 14 days of cancelling your order. This refund can only be applied to the credit or debit card used to make the original purchase.

You cannot cancel and request a refund for an event that has already taken place.

Redeeming your event tickets

Event ticket holders must present the ticket voucher email on arrival at the event. Tickets will be deemed redeemed when the event has taken place, regardless of attendance at the event.

Cancelling or amending event ticket bookings

Should you wish to cancel an event ticket booking, please see regulations above. Cancellations outside of these regulations will not be permitted as event tickets are deemed non-refundable.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, we disclaim any and all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the services we offer you. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or your cancellation rights under these terms. If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or our failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time these terms were entered into, both we and you know it would happen. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees or agents. In the event that the Ommaroo Hotel breaches its contract with you, the Ommaroo Hotel shall be responsible only for refunding the cost of the event ticket. The Ommaroo Hotel will not be liable to pay any other compensation or losses suffered by you as a consequence of the Ommaroo Hotel’s breach of contract. Each of the paragraphs of these terms apply separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
