Accessibility

• There are two entrances to the Hotel, the main entrance and via the car park
• Both entrances include steps (minimum ten steps)
• There is no step-free access into the main Hotel building
• All staircases have handrails.

• The Hotel is arranged across split levels
• There are steps between key areas, including:

• • Entrance to reception
  • Access to restaurants and bar
  • Routes to bedrooms.

• The Hotel has two lifts, one on the east side of the building and one on the west side.
• Lifts provide access between:
  • Lower ground floor
  • Upper ground floor
  • First floor
  • Second floor

• Lifts accommodate a maximum of two people
• They are not suitable for wheelchairs
• Some areas may still require short stair access even when using lifts.

Located on the upper ground floor:

• Reception
• Palmer’s Restaurant
• Coast Bar & Bistro

Access details:

• These areas are not step-free
• Steps are required from the entrance and between spaces.

Bedrooms are located on:

• Lower ground floor
• Upper ground floor
• First floor
• Second floor.

Access details:

• Bedrooms are accessed via a combination of stairs and lifts
• There are no step-free routes to bedrooms
• We do not offer wheelchair-accessible bedrooms.

• Located on the lower ground floor, behind the Hotel
• Accessed via lifts and / or stairs
• Pool access is via steps with a handrail.

• Grantley’s Event Suite is located on the lower ground floor
• Access is via a separate entrance
• This entrance is step-free and wheelchair accessible
• Direct access is available from the car park.

Accessible features:

• Level access to the function room
• Wheelchair-accessible toilet.

Please note:

• There is no step-free internal connection between the function room and the main Hotel
• Accessibility in this area does not extend to bedrooms, restaurants, or reception areas.

• Parking is available on-site
• The function room entrance is directly accessible from the car park
• Distance to entrances: 10 – 20 metres
• Surface type: tarmac
• Accessible parking bays: on request.

Our team is happy to assist guests where possible, however, staff assistance does not replace the need to use stairs.

• The Hotel is not suitable for guests requiring full wheelchair access
• Guests must be able to:

• • Walk up and down stairs
  • Navigate level changes throughout the building.
